Do you (Flash Moments) make the magnets?

Yes! From sunny beautiful California, we design, print, assemble, finish, box, and ship your order ourselves using US-made materials.

I see a design I like, but I want to change the font/colors/style. Can a design be customized?

Most likely, yes. Contact us, and we’ll see what we can do.

I’m having a party/birthday/anniversary/retirement/charity event. Can you make those magnets too?

Of course! We love working on different types of designs, and hearing about all the fun parties that people have. Call or email us right away so that we can discuss all the possibilities.

When do I get to see exactly what I'm ordering?

The proof you create online will look very close to the final print of the magnet. Before your order prints we may make minor adjustments to the text spacing, photo placement, calendar date circle, and other design elements in order to make the design look its best. If any major adjustments are necessary, or if you order Photo Retouching, we will contact you after your order is placed to get approval on a new proof.

Can I get a sample of a magnet?

Sure! If you would like to receive a physical sample of our products, please visit our Sample Request Page. Please let us choose the design. We will send you a magnet on a Magnet Presentation Card in an envelope - Just as your guests will receive them!

Does the magnet arrive assembled? Will the magnet cover the entire back of the print?

Yes, the magnets will arrive fully assembled. The entire back of each piece is a flexible magnetic material.

I just placed my order online and noticed a mistake! Help! What do I do?

You should immediately reply to your order confirmation email, or Contact Us with your order number, and the corrections that need to be made. Your order will be placed on hold until the new artwork meets your approval. Most of the time, mistakes are caught within 1-6 hours of placing the order, and the mistake can still be corrected. If you have placed your order after hours, or on the weekend, your order will definitely not print with a mistake. We’ll get back to you first thing on the next business day to sort out the problem. Don’t panic!

If several weekdays have elapsed since placing your order, your order has already started printing, and it may be too late to make changes without an additional charge.

I have a specific request for photo retouching.

E-mail us with your order number and we’ll try to accommodate your request. Please be advised that Photo Retouching is a specific service that needs to be ordered separately. You can add it to your order after you have customized your magnets.

Do you sell small, magnet-sized envelopes?

Because those envelopes do not meet the USPS minimum size requirements, we do not sell them. Magnet-sized envelopes are too small to be sent through the mail. If you try to mail those envelopes they will likely be rejected by the Post Office. The envelopes that we sell are compliant with the size requirement and can be mailed with one first class stamp. Can you scan my photo for me?

Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies of photos. If you do not have a scanner, we suggest taking your picture to a mini-lab or drug store that develops photos. They can scan your photo and put it on a disk. Be sure to get the photo in the .jpg format.

If you need help with a photo file that is not in the .jpg format, please email it to us and we'll convert it for you.

How do I upload my photo? Do you charge to upload photos?

Uploading your photo is free. Click on the Photo magnet you would like to customize. Click the “Customize Your Design” tab. Under Step 1, click the “Upload” button; in the pop-up window click “Choose file” and select the photo from your computer that you would like to use. When your photo has uploaded completely, click “ACCEPT” to see the photo in the design preview.

Can I have a circle instead of a heart on the calendar magnets?

Yes. Click on the Calendar magnet you would like to begin customizing. Click the “Customize Your Design” tab. Under Step 3, find “Select your date marker”, and choose from the different styles. You can select from any of these date markers for your Calendar magnets.

Can I add my website address and/or the location of my wedding to the magnet?

Yes! After choosing your design, click on the “Customize Your Design” tab. Step 2, “Select your phrasing choice” has a drop-down box below it that contains many different types of phrasing. To add a website address or other information, choose a phrasing option that has the words “URL” or “Long URL”. Beneath “Save the Date!” you will see several options that allow you to add your wedding location, website address, or both.

If you want to add your website to a design that does not feature this option, please Contact Us and we'll make it work.

What does “Write your own” phrasing mean?

There is a “Write your own” phrasing option for most designs. This is for your own creative phrasing ideas, or to add additional information that won’t fit into another phrasing option. If you purchase magnets and choose this option, we will type-set all the information, and send you a new proof to approve via email. If you have a specific request for the type-setting, please get in touch with us before placing your order, or send us an email with your order number and request immediately after placing your order.

You do not need to fill every line of the "Write your own" option. Enter all the information you want to include on your magnets, and we'll typeset it in a way that will look great. 

Can I order magnets in a quantity that is not listed?

Sorry, we cannot print in a quantity that is not listed on the website.

Will the Flash Moments logo appear on my magnets?

No. Unlike many other companies, we don't advertise on your magnets.

Do you sell envelopes?

Yes! We offer 70lb. white envelopes with a gummed, pointed flap. You can add them to your cart when you have finished personalizing your magnet. Envelopes are not included in the cost of the magnets, and are priced per piece. You can add envelopes to your order after you have customized your magnets.

How should I send my Save the Date magnets?

We offer a complete Save the Date solution! Our offerings include Save the Date magnets, Magnet Presentation cards, and envelopes. You can add these to your order after you have customized your magnets.

How soon will I receive my order?

You can see the estimated ship date by adding an item to your cart. The estimated ship date is below the subtotal. All standard orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, so you will receive your order 3-6 days after the ship date. Rush orders are shipped USPS Express mail which takes approximately 1-2 days after the ship date.

Orders are not processed, printed, or shipped on weekends or holidays. Please consider postal holidays when placing your order. If you have any questions about when or how we will ship your order, please Contact Us.

When will my credit card be charged?

The order and payment information you provide will be sent electronically and processed immediately. After authorization, your order will begin the printing process. 

Do you ship to APOs and FPOs?

Yes, we can ship to military APOs and FPOs. Make sure you select "United States" as your country, and then select AA, AE, or AP as your state. Rush shipping is not available to APO and FPO addresses. 

Can I buy from outside the United States?

Please contact us to place an order with a non-US credit card and billing address.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

Please contact us to request an international shipping quote.

Can I arrange for pickup with my own shipping provider?

Sorry, all orders are shipped using USPS only. Shipping charges must be paid for at the time of purchase.

Will you send a free sample to a non-US address?

Sorry, no.

Help! I didn't order enough magnets!

When you place your order for additional magnets you do not need to recreate the magnet. In one of the text fields, simply type REPRINT and your original order number and add it to your cart. We will pull your previous artwork to ensure that all the information is the same on the reprint. If you’re not comfortable doing this, please call or email us for assistance.

Of course, we always recommend that you order more magnets than you may originally anticipate needing! Generally, it’s best to figure out how many magnets you think you’ll need, then round up for miscalculations, last-minute additions, parental interference, and party crashers.

Will you tell my parents that I don't want all these people at my wedding?

No, but Contact Us and we'll commiserate.
