Save the Date Wording
Save the Date Cards and Save the Date Magnets are sent to tell guests of your wedding date. They are not engagement announcements or an invitation to your wedding. Save the Date magnets help to make sure that your friends and family have time to make travel plans, or to ensure that they don’t have other social engagements. The design that you choose for your Save the Date Cards or Magnets may be similar in style to your wedding invitations, but they don’t necessarily need to match.
Your wording should be based on the formality of your wedding. When your wedding style is formal, a more formal style of wording is appropriate. If you’re sending out fun, humorous, or casual Save the Date Magnets & Cards, then you can write whatever you want, but make sure that your announcements have all the necessary Save the Date information.
