To Whom Should I Send Save the Date Cards & Magnets?

Save the Date cards may not be necessary for all of your guests, but they are perfect for those who will be traveling to your wedding. Or maybe you're lucky enough to be planning a destination wedding, or a wedding that spans a long weekend. If you are, you will need to send save the date magnets to everyone you will be inviting to your wedding so that guests can make travel arrangements. You may not need to send Save the Date announcements to every single guest if you aren't having a destination wedding. They are best for guests who will be traveling to your wedding, or those with very busy schedules.

Be sure to also send an invitation to the guests who received a Save the Date Card or Magnet. If the guest has already declined, it is for you to decide if you should also send an invitation. You might just opt to send an announcement to a guest who has declined based on your Save the Date.
